The Potter's Hand

8 But now, O LORD,
You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are
the work of Your hand.
Isaiah 64:8 (NKJV)
Ever saw a person dealing with pottery? The potter's wheel can be a bit tricky; Don't be fooled by the peaceful look of the wheel spinning, spinning, spinning. Sometimes you have to fight the clay, add more clay and take away! It can be tough as I saw and it takes practice, and patience.
When I saw a person working on a potter's wheel, I thought of God and our lives. How we are the clay and God is the Potter. Sometimes we as humans want to do things on our own way, and God has to fight our stubborn lives and minds.
Look at the prophet Jonah, God's mission
for him was to go to Niveveh and because Jonah didn't like God's planning.
Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. So many
things went wrong; (he got voted thrown off a ship, a big fish swallowed
him). He was in the fish's stomach for 3 days and when the fish vomited
Jonah on to dry land, God Spoke; “Arise, go to Nineveh, that
great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you.”
(Jonah Chapters 1 - 3)
When God want you to go down a certain road and and you decide to go somewhere else, God will get you where He wants you to be and doing the things He wants you to do.
God is the potter and He will take you, guide you, and mold you, all we have to do is be humble and be ready to be called upon, be guided, be used by God Almighty.
In God's Love,

The Potter's Hand
Beutiful Lord, wonderful Savior,
I know for sure all of my days
Are held in your hand and crafted into Your perfect plan.
You gently call me into your presence,
Guiding me by your holy spirit.
Teach me, dear Lord,
To live all my life through your eyes.
I'm captured by your holy calling; set me apart.
I know Your're drawing me to Yourself.
Lead me, Lord, I pray;
Take me, mold me, use me, fill me;
I give my life to the Potter's hand.
Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me;
I give my life to the Potter's hand.
