God glorified by believers

"The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul." Psalm 19:7
We are caused to see our short comings through the law and we are humbled and must realize our need for God's intervention. We are all sinners unable to save ourselves; We need to have faith in God and His Son as the only way for salvation.
Look at the story of Gideon; God reduced his army of human soldiers to a number far too small for the possibility of their victory over the enemy if they were to rely on their own strength. This was so that God would get the glory for the victory, and no one could boast and say Israel has saved itself with the might of its sword. Gideon and his army had to be humbled to the point of being assured of their need of God.
"For it is by grace we have been saved through faith, and this not of ourselves, but is the gift of God, so no one can boast."
Now a days people are unwilling to humble themselves and this becomes their greatest sin because their self righteous attitude keeps them from seeking God. They do not feel the need to be saved; therefore they do not seek His salvation. They feel they can figure it all out for themselves. They don't feel they need God. The fear of the Lord is not on them anymore. The Bible says "it is the Lord alone whom you should fear, and He shall be your dread, and then He will become your sanctuary."
God wills for us to love, trust and depend on Him. God can be glorified by Christians if they put their trust in God completely. Having full knowledge of their sins and having confessed with their tongues their own sinful ways; they realize their need for God's salvation. They have a holy healthy fear of the Lord, and Christ has become their sanctuary, God's Son a perfect sacrifice.
People must be humbled and learn the fear of God, and then they will learn the depths of His Love and the wonders of His Salvation in Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:20 "Therefore by the deed of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin."
"The law stops the mouth of the sinner from justifying
himself by saying, "there are plenty of people worse then me, I'm
not a bad person." The law of God is like our school master who leads
us to Jesus Christ that we might be justified by faith through His blood.
The law doesn't help us, it just leaves us helpless. The law doesn't justify
us, it just leaves us guilty." (Kirk Cameron, Way of the Master)
"It is by faith that we are saved through faith, and this not of
ourselves but is the gift of God, and not by works so that no one can
boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"The law is a spiritual mirror with which we are caused to see our
own filthiness and the desperate need for God's cleansing." (Kirk
Cameron, Way of the Master)
In the psalms we see many humble cries from one who knows
His need for God's redemption;
"Create in me a clean heart oh God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me,
Do not cast me away from Thy presence,
And do not take Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Thy salvation,
And sustain me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Thy ways,
And sinners will be converted to Thee."
(Psalm 51:10-13)
Speak the Truth in Love, not by might nor by power, but by The Holy Spirit. People need to know they are in danger before they will cry out for a savior.
