Do you know a person who has faced adversity and as a result of that has lost faith in his or her daily walk? Let us go to the other side; do you know someone who has faced the some hardships but their faith has grown stronger? What is the difference between them? Well, one of them knows where their strength comes from and depends on Him.

Psalms 121: 2 says: My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (NKJV)

This is the strength that we need. When we don’t know what’s happening and when we find ourselves in a situation that we don’t have control over, we must know where to turn and that is to our Heavenly Father. When you begin to trust God in your time of need, you will know He is the giver of strength.

There is godly power accessible to you to face and triumph over difficult times. It is the strength that is available to every child of God but only if they are totally dependent on Him.

And as Jesus said to his disciples “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:15-17 NKJV)

Jesus’ promised a helper to every believer and is giving strength and power to enable us to face every circumstance of life.

Just be dependent on Him.
