Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

As this year's independence day comes, I can't help but think that over 200 years ago there were people who fought for our liberty.

We are blessed to have freedom to worship without having to worry about losing our lives, being arrested or having property confiscated. We are blessed to have the right of freedom of assembly and freedom of the press, and then I was thinking about that one person who was submissive in God's plan over 2000 years ago. The one who died for our sins and gave us the freedom to believe and call on his name for our eternal live, Jesus Christ.

I found these saying in a card - "Count your blessings, relax and appreciate the little things this summer." but I say count your blessings all the time; summer, fall, winter, and spring.

Be still and know that the Great Almighty is God and that He is in control all the time, the seasons, the nations and the earth.
We are blessed to be here in this nation.
