What is worship?

Worship is about God, to God and for God. See, Worship is not only singing but living your life daily. Worship is Praying to God almighty, talking to Him and listening to Him. Worship is reading daily His word and following Him. When we put that defition we can see,
WE ALL ARE WORSHIPPERS!

You don't have to carry a tune to be a worshipper of God, and there are many kinds of worshippers.

 

Isaiah 6:1-5 (NKJV)

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said:

“ Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”

4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 So I said:
“ Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The LORD of hosts.”

 

I was cleaning up the other day and came across a book that I haven't opened up for a while;

"The Unquenchable Worshipper
Coming Back to the Heart of Worship"

So, I read the book again and out of the second chapter, I felt that God wanted me to talk about "The Undone Worshipper" this week.

Have you ever felt like Isaiah being an undone worshipper? Have you ever dove into the word, or meeting God in prayer and He is loving you and showing you His presence? You don't have to see God with your physical eyes to know that He is there. Have you ever realized God's greatness and you get broken, stunned and shaken in the presence of Abba Father, Yahweh.

Sometimes God shows up at the place of worship and at those times there would be a silence of awe, or crying (being broken). We are being like the undone worshipper at those times. There are times of worship to be easy, joyful, pleased, and even comfortable; but there are times when God will make us uncomfortable; it makes us search our hearts more closely.

It's all about His Love for us. He is so Holy, the perfect Father. He wants you to know that He is there.

Search your Heart and Worship the Lord.
