I have learned life can take distressing twists and turns in a matter of moments. For example, an automobile accident tries to take a life; or a doctor’s appointment identifies a critical sickness; or where you work a call to the administrator’s office that declares a dismissal.  As we know a downturn in the stock market indicates financial ruin; a phone call announces an arrest.  Sometimes suddenly without warning, life is totally turned upside down, but in this verse we see Christ did not or will not ever change.  One of the attributes of God is that He is unchallengeable, absolute... meaning that He never changes. God is the same God as He has always
been and always will be.

His associations are the same.

His teachings are the same.

His expectations are the same.

His activities are the same.

This day and every day I am thankful that God will always be
there and will never change. 

I am thankful God sent His son to die on the cross for my sin. 

Jesus Christ was a gift to us all and I’m thankful for Him.
